This article provides a solution to an issue where multiple tabs are missing when you view user properties in active directory users and computers.

In the group or user names section you can choose the group or the user to whom you would like to deny or allow permission.
If you don t have active directory users and computers installed on your computer contact your system administrator.
In the right pane right click on remove security tab and click on properties.
It s the program that has an icon that resembles a yellow pages phone book.
However to your dismay you find the security tab missing from folder properties.
To restore the security tab and details tab select dot disabled or not configured and click on ok.
When you want to change the security settings of a windows folder you right click the respective folder and then click on properties.
Remove or enable security tab in folder properties using registry editor.
On the right hand side double click the remove security tab setting.
The advanced features have to be activated in the active directory users and computers console.
Close the local group policy editor window and check for the issue.

First you open the member of tab of the user object which you want to edit and then open one of the groups.
The security tab allows you to grant or deny permissions to other groups and users over the user object.
If you want to restore the missing security tab select disabled instead.
If you want to remove security tab select enabled and click apply.
