To all i have just gotten myself into a 2017 r line. And they move a lot of air to the rear. Adding rear air vents. Been about two weeks now and i am looking to do a few mods.

Luckily the two vents at the center of the dash can be angled to hit the back just right and the fan is strong enough to get it back there. Those vents trickle out some air if the the hvac is set to floor or mix. I want to get the round ceiling vents like for a ford expedition or a gmc yukon. Vents in the rear of the console would have been preferable.

However if the heater you have is not able to handle the extra square footage then your best bet is getting a bigger heater and air conditioning unit. I had a mkvi jetta that i just couldn t leave alone there were a few people that done the mod of adding rear air in their jetta and i really liked the option but never did it.
